We are excited you are adding a wonderful puppy/dog from us. We strive to breed the best quality and healthy puppies. If there are ever any questions, please contact us we’d be happy to share our knowledge and opinion. We look forward to watching your puppy grow up, feel free to send us updates as we really enjoy them. Thank you for purchasing a puppy/dog from us.
Any money placed on a puppy is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason. Transfers are given on a case by case basis at my discretion.
When placing a deposit we request it be by check.
When paying remaining balance we request a cashier’s check or cash. Due 5 days prior to puppy pick up date.
In the state of Kansas I am required to charge sales tax, for my location in Reno County it is 7.5 % which will be added to the puppy balance.
We do require $300 to reserve the puppy/dog you’d like to add to your family. Once Deposit & Puppy Purchase Contract is received, said puppy/dog will be marked on hold. Puppy/dog must be paid in full 5 days before pickup.
Deposits placed are good up to one year, if you have not chosen a puppy by that time deposit is forfeited and contract void.
Kansas State law requires puppy not to leave until 8 weeks of age, therefore our puppies are able to leave at or right after 8 weeks of age. Date will be set for puppy pickup, we expect puppy to be picked up within 3 days after puppy turns 8 weeks of age. At the bottom of contract you will find the date that is set, if date does not work for you please notify Ashlea Hand right away, she will help schedule a date.
If puppy is not paid for in full by due date Puppy Purchase Contract will be void, deposit will not be returned and said puppy/dog will be back available. If puppy is not picked up by Puppy Pickup Date, contract will be void, no refund will be given and said puppy/dog will be back available.
At for some reason puppy becomes injured to the point recovery time be after 8 weeks old The Wildfire Kennel will keep puppy until fully recovered cost paid by The Wildfire Kennel. If puppy becomes deceased you will have pick of next available puppy at same value.
To the best of my knowledge, said puppy/dog is in sound and healthy condition at the time of sale.
Buyer has 72 hours from the time of pickup to have a vet check done on said puppy. Vet has to be a licensed veterinarian, administer two or more puppy vaccines to said puppy. Parvo and Distemper vaccines must be given at two-four week intervals following first set of vaccination.
All puppies/dogs are sold as PET QUALITY ONLY, this does not mean they are or are not show/breed quality.
Males are guaranteed to have 2 testicles descended unless priced as “Pet Only”.
Said puppy must be spayed/neutered between 6 months of age. No later than age of 6 months. If Buyer does not have puppy spayed/neutered by end of month 6. Seller The Wildfire Kennel has the right to take puppy/dog back without refund. Buyer has until said Date: _________________, to have said puppy/dog spay/neutered. Once spayed/neutered, Buyer is to send a copy of proof from licensed veterinary to Ashlea Hand by Email or Mail.
Puppy/dog has an Avid Microchip administered by our vet, Buyer will receive the form to register puppy/dog in their name. It is Buyers responsibility to send in form and fee. $19.99 Microchip #_____________________________
Said puppy has been vet checked and received a health certificate good for 30 days from date of inspection. That will be given to you along with vaccination records stating dates of being administered.
Puppy parents or grandparents have been fully genetically tested through Paw Print Genetics.
Health guarantee does not cover any parasite, internal or external as this is a treatable condition.
Seller cannot be responsible for Hypoglycemia or the effects of any stress related illness due to travel or rehoming. Buyer must make sure that their new puppy is eating, getting plenty of water and rest.
I (The Wildfire Kennel) reserve the right to refuse/dismiss an application and / or adoption at anytime I feel that is in the safety of our puppy/dog.
A dog will not be replaced if buyer does not keep said puppy/dog up to date on vaccines, bred or altered.
Seller is in no way responsible for any vet bills made after puppy leaves the care of The Wildfire Kennel. Seller will not refund money in any situation. Shipping is always the responsibility of the buyer, even if said puppy is sent back and or replaced. Any and all vet bills are the responsibilities of the buyer. No Exceptions.
Puppy/dog is not allowed to be re-sold or put in an animal shelter. If at any time buyer can no longer care for or keep puppy/dog, buyer must first notify Breeder (The Wildfire Kennel) and the puppy/dog must be surrendered back to The Wildfire Kennel. No money or refund will be given for the puppy/dog if/when it is returned to The Wildfire Kennel, at that time The Wildfire Kennel will then be the sole owner of the puppy/dog. If shipping is needed in returning to The Wildfire Kennel expenses will be paid by buyer.
Buyers will have the chance to visit their puppy after week 6 via video chat. We do not allow buyers or visitors around our puppies under 7 weeks old for the safety of puppies. This helps maintain disease control and accidents to occur. Once deposit and contract has been received updated photos will be provided each week, up to 8 weeks of age.
I like for each new/potential buyer to come visit puppy (if puppy is over 3 months of age) they are interested in, for this reason I like to make sure it is a good fit. I understand that visiting isn’t always possible so I do phone calls and ask questions to help insure it is right for both buyer and puppy.
We keep a very clean property so those that visit must wear boot covers we provide, to insure no one brings harmful diseases onto our property.
Parvo and others diseases can be transferred by shoes and clothes. We have shoes we wear just for home and shoes we wear off our property. We have a soap that is used to wash down kennels, concrete, floors and our shoes which helps prevent diseases. We also spray our yard 2-3 times a year to help prevent ticks, fleas & mites.

This contract is under the jurisdiction of the state of Kansas. In the event of any dispute, the parties mutually agree that the dispute will be settled under the jurisdiction of Reno County, Kansas.
All parties agree mutually that all lawyer fees shall be paid by the buyer. In the event that a court of law finds any part of this unenforceable, all remaining provisions not deemed unenforceable will be enforced to the full extent of the law.
This agreement sets forth the entire agreement between parties. This agreement may not be changed, altered or amended except in a writing signed by both parties.

Our children are very involved playing with puppies, helping with chores and love each puppy. It is important that the puppy goes to the right home as we strive for it to be their forever home. Like stated above at any time puppy/dog is no longer able to be cared for or remain with buyer, we want our puppy/dog to come back to us, no questions asked. We know that life doesn’t always go as planned and that’s okay, but it is important to keep the well being of puppy/dog safe and in a good loving home that is right for both puppy/dog and family.
